Peace Officers Memorial Day is held on May 15th every year during Police Week. The day is a memorial to all peace officers who have been killed or disabled in the line of duty. Much like Memorial Day that honor's the men and women who have died in our military, Peace Officers Memorial Day honors the brave men and women who have died or been disabled while in the line of duty to keep the public safe.
